TheClinical Nurse Partnerprovides patient care under the direct supervision of an RN. Nursing interventions are performed according to the multidisciplinary care plan or as otherwise directed according to the policies and procedures of CVHP. The CNP is responsible for contributing to the maintenance of a safe and therapeutic milieu through prompt reporting of observed behavior, milieu processes and other pertinent information. Close attention is paid to environmental conditions, promotion of appropriate social interaction and activities on and off the unit that are age specific to patient populations. He/she is responsible for his/her own professional growth and for identification of opportunities to improve the delivery of patient care. Transports medications and requests to and from Pharmacy/Nurse on a non-routine basis when necessary.

One year nurse assistant experience is required. Previous psychiatric experience preferred. Excellent customer service skills required.

Certified Nurse Assistant required. BLS required.

MAB or equivalent course requiredupon hire. Incumbents have until 4/1/15 to obtain the training. Training is renewed annually (cert. expires end of month in which training takes place).
