Complete Description

The Radiology Nurse provides assessment and nursing intervention in all areas of Radiology when requested by physicians and/or procedural protocols. Recognizes and initiates appropriate actions in emergency situations. Contributes nursing expertise in the development of policies, procedures and standards of patient care. Contributes to the educational process for patients, imaging staff and self.

All (1) newly graduated nurses, (2) re-entry nurses, and (3) nurses new to the U.S. healthcare system must satisfactorily complete the CVHP R.N. Residency Program within the first 6 months of employment at CVHP. Two to three years experience in special procedures/angiography lab preferred. Two years experience in ICU/CCU or ED desirable. Excellent customer service skills required.

Current California RN License. BCLS and ACLS required. PICC Certification within 6 months of hire.
