The Performance Improvement Engineer is responsible for supporting CVHP in delivering cost, quality, and service programs which are consistent with the business strategies of growth, customer satisfaction, and productivity. Participates in project selection, goal development, and project plan design with responsible program managers. Facilitates plan execution to meet business objectives and ensure long term improvement. Promotes the CVHP continuous improvement processes by learning and utilizing Plan-Do-Check-Act, Lean, Six Sigma, Program Management, and Change Acceleration technologies and by participation on Improvement Teams. Leads special projects as determined and guided by the senior leadership.
Minimum Education Requirement:
Bachelor`s degree (preferably in engineering, computer science, statistics, business, or healthcare management) with a minimum of 2 years of experience facilitating project teams required. Master`s Degree with a minimum of 3 years of experience facilitating healthcare project teams preferred.
Minimum Experience Requirement:
Strong verbal and written skills. Strong presentation skills before large and small groups. Previous experience in delivering project results using statistical methods and other formal problem solving techniques with an intermediate to advanced skill level with Excel. Prior experience with project management and/or Lean Six Sigma and Change Management required. Excellent customer service skills required.
Minimum License Requirement:
Six Sigma Green Belt certification or Lean Master certification required with the goal to obtain Six Sigma Black Belt within one year of hire. Six Sigma Black Belt certification preferred upon hire.
